Are you affected by someone else’s drinking? Dreading the holidays? Does your holiday cheer turn into drama and disaster? Alanon can offer help and support. You may think that excessive drinking is just a fact of life for your husband, wife, father, mother, sister, brother, friend, or relative and nothing can be done about it. But you can do something about YOU and how you react to the drinker. Alanon helps you sort these things out and get some balance in your life. At Alanon, you are not required to share unless you have a desire to.
Anonymity is an Alanon tradition. Because we are a small community, we emphasize this tradition and expect participants to respect this anonymity. All ages are welcome. You will find friendship and support at the meetings. Meetings are held every Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. at the Historical Building in Mason. For more information call 325-347-5805 or 325-258-4441.
