The County will hold an election on sales/use tax on Saturday, May 9, from 7:00 a.m. till 7:00 p.m. All voting will be done at the Commissioners' Courtroom rather than the separate polling places voters might be accustomed to in other elections.

The City of Mason will be electing a Commissioner for District 1 to fill the unexpired term of Eloise Burges. Only those City residents in District 1 are eligible to vote in that election. Voting will be on May 9, from 7:00 a.m. till 7:00 p.m. at the City office. The candidates are John Schafft and Jared Carter.

The Mason I.S.D. Board of Trustees are holding an election to fill Single Member District 4. Incumbent Shannon Worrell is being opposed by Gigi Duarte. That election will also be on May 9, 7:00 a.m. till 7:00 p.m., and will be held at the City office. Only those in Single Member District 4 may vote in this election.
