Riata's April meeting was held at the home of Florene Hofmann, with Becky Griffith serving as co-hostess. Rita Ash was welcomed as our guest speaker and gave a very interesting talk about their experiences as missionaries in Nigeria. She and her husband, Pastor Ray Ash, served as Baptist missionaries there from 1989 until 1994.

After the program, refreshments were served and enjoyed. The business meeting followed with reports given by officers and committee chairmen. Projects were discussed. Plans and members responsibilities for the Spring luncheon on May 6th were discussed and finalized.
