Nevada, MO-Cottey College announces that Elisha Wawrzyniak, daughter of Renee Berens of Mason, Texas and Nick Wawrzyniak of Skidmore, Missouri, graduated Sunday, May 17, 2009, with an Associate in Arts degree. Elisha was also on the Dean's List for her scholastic performance during the spring 2009 semester.

Cottey College is a two-year, independent, liberal arts and sciences college for women located in Nevada, Missouri, 100 miles south of Kansas City. The College's residential student capacity is 350, and the typical student is composed of young women from 40 states and 15 countries. After completing two years of their education at Cottey they transfer to colleges and universities across the world.

Cottey is owned and supported by the P.E.O. Sisterhood, a philanthropic educational organization of approximately 250,000 members. Cottey is only nonsectarian college in the nation owned and supported by women for women.
