This year’s Fair will be held on Saturday, July 11th, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the Courthouse Lawn.

There will be many outstanding, quality craft booths with items such as children’s clothes, flip flops, hand bags, T-shirts, jewelry, western art and furniture, iron art, candles, sensy candles, paintings, pottery, birdhouses, rifle/ fishing rod/guitar stands, mesquite items, stained glass, computer bags, notebooks, chairs, etc, etc, etc.

There will be lots of delicious food such as: German tacos, hamburgers, fajitas, pizza, fried fish, chicken fried steak, chicken tenders, boneless wings, nachos, corn dogs, and hot dogs. We’ll have deserts such as: Funnel cakes, fried twinkies and oreos, chocolate dipped strawberries, bananas and cheesecake, fudge puppies, pies, cakes, cookies, snow cones, and a BIG Lemonade booth. There will also be peanut brittle, jams, jellies, cinnamon roasted pecans and dip mixes.

For the kids, we’ll have the big slide, and a big bounce, rock climbing wall, face painting, a dunking booth and games.

We’ll have several informational booths and you can purchase chances on a dollhouse or a quilt. The longhorn pipeline folks will be giving away a Bar-B-Q grill. The “Billy Bingo” will be on the west side. You can purchase chances in advance at the Chamber of Commerce.

Live entertainment will be provided by John Beam and friends.

The Parade will start at 10 a.m. followed by the Donkey Race. The Queen’s court interviews will be held on the North side courthouse steps at 1:30.
