Weekly attendance is up at the Mason Square Museum! A mystery is unfolding as visitors are greeted with a wonderful overview of the history of Mason and Mason County. Museum docents are watching the guest book very closely as the tally approaches 10,000.
By visiting this hall of knowledge, you may learn how Robert E. Lee is playing a role in commanding visitation, as is Johnny Ringo and Herman Lehmann. When the highly intelligent, 10,000th person signs in (must be smart to visit the museum), he or she will receive a two volume book entitled the “History of Mason County” written by Mason’s own Margaret Bierschwale. The event honors the Museum’s success and gratitude to all the folks who have shown an interest in our unique past.
For a preview, visit us at masonsquaremuseum.org. The Museum is open from 10 am to 4 pm, Thursday, Friday & Saturday.
