Mason non-profits have received over $50,000 over the last two and one half years. This is not money from the Stimulus package! This is money generated by our own Community Thrift Store which is operated by the Mason Community Foundation.

Twenty-two projects have been funded in Mason County. These include EMS and fire department equipment, benches and Christmas lights on the square and repairs for the food bank.

Mason Community Foundation grants are given to projects that are sponsored by a non-profit organization and will benefit a large part of the community.

September 1st is the deadline for grant applications in 2009. Applications are available at the Community Thrift Store.
