The fourth annual Starving Artist Show will be held on Saturday, October 24, 10:00 a.m. till 5:00 p.m. We are honoring Jennifer Hitzfelder, event founder. The show is to encourage the public to come to the square, visit the artists, and to also visit the shops and restaurants. We are grateful to our merchants for allowing the artists to set up in front of their shops.

Over 35 artists will be representing many areas of Texas, from San Antonio to San Angelo, and towns all in between. There will be watercolors, oils, acrylic, pastels, pen and ink, and mixed media paintings, plus pottery, photography, jewelry, needlepoint, candles and wood-working, including children's toys.

There is something for everyone's taste and budget, and we welcome the public to join us. We want to offer up a special thanks to Kyle Martin this year for his beautiful poster art that has helped us publicize our event.
