The MHS student council will begin their annual magazine drive on Monday, Oct. 12th. This year the council will continue to sell magazines and CDs in an effort to raise money for the purchase of new trophy cases.

Last year’s drive earned about half the money needed for this purchase so the council’s goal is to raise the remaining amount this year. Each magazine subscription or music CD sold nets the school 40% of the purchase price which is a terrific deal for the school. The magazine and CD prices are not inflated and are often cheaper than through stores or the magazine company.

If anyone is interested in renewing a magazine this is also possible. You may renew for the rate the magazine has offered even if it is a lower price, and the school will still get 40% of your purchase price.

This is an excellent way to renew or purchase magazines and CDs and help the student council purchase new trophy cases. All high school students will be selling magazines so call your favorite student or the high school office and place your order.
