The Fine Arts Association of the Hill country will host their annual 5X7 Scholarship Show and Sale at the Northside Café on November 7, 2009.

All proceeds go towards giving a $1000.00 scholarship in May 2010. The very first scholarship granted by the FAAHC was to recipient, Christan Nichole Powers, a 2009 graduate of Junction High School. Students from Kimble, Mason, McCulloch and Menard counties are eligible for this scholarship.

The 5X7 show offers a variety of media to choose from: paintings, photography, printmaking, giclee, clay, pottery, sculpture, jewelry, fibers and poetry or prose. for only $20.00 per selection, these items make great gifts for the upcoming holidays.
