On October 20, employees of Capital Farm Credit (CFC) will be going “Passionately Pink for the Cure” to raise funds for the fight against breast cancer.

CFC, a borrower-owned cooperative specializing in rural financing, is seeking the support of their community in the fight against breast cancer. According to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, the organization sponsoring this event, an estimated 5 million Americans have the potential to be diagnosed with breast cancer over the next 25 years. Accordingly, participation in this event truly helps save lives.

“We would like to invite anyone, in the local community or beyond, to join us in this important event,” said Jeri Langehennig, Vice President for Capital Farm Credit Mason. “Participating is simple. Those interested are asked to wear pink on October 20 and make a donation of $5 or more to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.”

Donations for this event can be made online at www.passionatelypink.org or at your local Capital Farm Credit Office. Call 325-247-6653 or drop by the CFC office, located at 431 McKavitt in Mason, for more information.
