Billie June Cowie died October 31, 2009, in Houston, Texas. Born on November 16, 1927, to Frances Ramey & Eva Grimes in Denver, Colorado, she was 81 years young.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Cowie, her parents, her brothers Walter and Ed Ramey, and her sister Emma Sowell.

She is survived by her son & daughter-in-law Dean & Kelly Schaefer of Mc Allen, Texas, daughter Karen Schaefer of Houston, Texas, step-son Mike and Sue Cowie of Jarrell, Texas, beloved sister-in-law, LaJean Ramey of Fredericksburg, Texas, and a half brother, Donny Ramey of Canyon Lake, Texas, eight grand children and eight great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Everyone who knew her knew two things about her, first she loved the Lord, and second, she was devoted to her family. She will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

Memorial services will be on Friday, November 6, 2:00 p.m., at Marble Falls Church of Christ.
