One Size: 5x7. One Price: $20. This Saturday, November 7th, at the North Side Café in Mason, the Fine Arts Association of the Hill Country will host their once a year Scholarship Art Sale. The doors open at 11 a.m. and the sale will last until either closing time or the items are sold out.

There will be many different mediums used in the works that are offered. This will be a great opportunity to either begin or finish your holiday shopping; plus, to include your “personal” shopping, also!

The group’s T-Shirts and the new mini-cookbooks (they are from the Ginger Test Watercolour Workshop hosted in October by Granite Rock B&B) will also be available for purchase.

A student selected from the association’s membership counties (Kimble, Mason, Menard and McCulloch) will receive a scholarship in the spring of 2010. Last year’s recipient received a $1,000 award!

The new advertising sign was designed and created by artist Dorrett Townsend of Mason County. It is located on the edge of Mason’s historic square.
