The Mason FFA Ag. Issues Team will be competing at the Area VII FFA Association Leadership Development Events on Wednesday, November 18, 2009 in Blanco, Texas. Members of the team are Kaitlyn Cavness, Kambrey Hudson, Virginia Lemke and Jenny Smith.

The Ag Issues competition requires FFA members to research a current topic concerning agriculture. This year's team has chosen the controversial topic of transmission of wind generated electrical power.

These students are currently discussing the pros and cons of the subject to various community groups. Also, the group has designed a blog site on the internet for all those interested on the wind transmission lines. Their site can be reached by visiting http://windtransmissionmasonffa.blogspot.com/

Any and all comments are welcomed by the team to assist with collecting data for their presentation. For more information contact Lance Rasch or Jarrod Usener at 325-347-1122.
