The Shooting Star in downtown Mason will host a special album release party for Heart of Texas Recording Artist Darrell McCall on Saturday, November 21, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. as part of their grand opening celebration.

Darrell McCall will be autographing copies of his latest release "Keeping With Tradition." The project was recorded at the Heart of Texas Recording Studio in Brady, Texas, and produced by Justin Trevino.

The twelve song album contains some of McCall’s favorite standards including "What Do You Know About Heartaches" "Speak Well of Me" "The Kind of Love" "Most of All" and "Thats The Way I Feel" along with some brand new songs including "The Fall" "Fast As I Can Crawsl" and "Are You Ever Coming Back To Your Memories?"

"This was truly one of my favorite albums to record" McCall said. "We were in our new studio and everything just flowed so well. I am so proud of it and can’t wait to hear the reactions from my friends."

McCall will be joined at the Shooting Star on Saturday by producer Justin Trevino and fellow recording artist Mona McCall and KNEL Radio’s Guyanne McCall Dannheim and Tracy Pitcox.
