Michael A. Codiga, MS, MD, internal medicine physician, will meet community members at a Fredericksburg Chamber of Commerce Open House and Ribbon Cutting on Dec. 10, 2009, from 5 to 7 p.m., at 820 Reuben St., suite B, south of the Brune Professional Building.Dr. Codiga said he and his wife, Kelly, moved to Fredericksburg from Cody, Wyoming in September to raise their four children in a small town. He further said he was impressed with the hospital, and he recognized demand for another primary care physician.“There are patients who are new to the area, or who do not have a primary care physician,” he said. “I welcome them, and I will strive to help every one live a long, healthy life.”He said his focus is based on the preventative medicine and wellness model, and he strives to educate and promote this lifestyle to his patients.
