INGRAM—Auditions for The Point Theatre production of "Almost, Maine" will be held Saturday, Dec.19 at 10 a.m. The comedy, by John Cariani, will run Feb. 12-27 on the indoor stage and will be directed by Chris Huber. Huber will be casting three women and three men to portray multiple characters age 20 and above. Those auditioning will be reading from the script. Scripts may be checked out from the box office. "Almost, Maine" is a romantic comedy consisting of nine vignettes set in the mythical town of Almost, Maine. It’s a cold, clear moonless night in the middle of winter, and all is not quite what it seams. Almost’s residents find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected and often hilarious ways. Knees are bruised and hearts are broken. But, the bruises heal and the hearts mend—almost—in this delightful midwinter night’s dream.
