Fredericksburg, TX. - The Fredericksburg Tea Party will host Congressman Mike Conaway to meet with voters in his district on Monday evening, February 8th. Mr. Conaway has represented Texas’ 11th Congressional District since 2004 and he is running for re-election this year against two challengers in the March 2nd Republican Primary.

Serving in his third term in the U.S. House of Representatives, Congressman Mike Conaway represents the 11th Congressional District of Texas consisting of 36 counties in Central and West Texas including Midland, Odessa and San Angelo.

Mike currently serves on the House Agriculture, Intelligence, Armed Services, and Ethics Committees.

"We are pleased to host Congressman Conaway while he meets with area voters to discuss his candidacy and platform," states Leslie Haight of the Fredericksburg Tea Party. "Throughout January, we have had the opportunity to meet the challengers in this Primary race, and welcome incumbent Congressman Conaway to complete the line-up."

The meeting for Representative Conaway will be held on Monday, February 8th, at 6:00 P.M. at the Rockbox Theater, 109 N. Llano St, Fredericksburg. Conaway intends to provide an introductory speech which will be followed by a question and answer period. Seating will be limited and available on a first come, first served basis so make your plans now to attend what will be a very interesting session.
