Mason County RSVP and several local business partnered in a MLK Day project to collect money or food for the local Mason Ministerial Alliance Food Bank.

MLK Day is a day of service to others and what better way to help someone than to donate money or food to the Ministerial Alliance Food Bank. Donation jars were put out at Zavala’s, Willow Creek, Short Stop, Nuway, and Gigi’s, Boxes to collect food items were left at Super S and Mason Senior Center.

With the help of the Mason community there was $188.52 collected and about 25 pounds of food.
