"Answers on Aging" is designed to provide information about services and programs available to older individuals. Intake Specialists will be available to assist you with any questions you may have. Programs that are housed in the Area Agency on Aging include Advocacy (Texas Silver Haired Legislature), Benefits Counseling (Medicare Part D), Care Coordination (Prescription and Utility Assistance & Homemaker Services), Caregiver Support (Respite Care), Foster Grandparent Program (Mentoring Children), Ombudsman Program (Advocates for Long-Term Care Residents), Senior Companion Program (Companions for the Elderly), and 2-1-1 of the Concho Valley (Health & Human Services Information). A wide variety of printed information covering various topics will also be available.

. The Area Agency on Aging (AAA) of the Concho Valley Council of Governments strives to provide information, assistance, and services to the older citizens of Mason County. Terry Lockhart, Program Specialist for the AAA and Cassandra Moreno, CBO staff, will be available to help seniors on an individual basis on February 19, 2010, from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at the Mason County Senior Center, 505 Moody (corner of Moody and Bryant), Mason, TX (325) 347-6242.
