Floyd E. "Ed" Ritter, 77, a long time resident of Odessa passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2010, at his residence.

He was born November 20, 1932, in Mason, TX. He graduated from Odessa High School in 1951. He was an U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict. He married Bobby A. Lile on August 30, 1958, in Odessa.

Ed held the Golden Gloves Featherweight Championship in 1950 – 1951.

He was preceded in death by a granddaughter Stacey Lynn Ritter.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Bobby Ritter, sons, Mark E. Ritter & Scott C. Ritter all of Odessa, (2) grandchildren, Megan & Carson and (1) great-grandson.

There was a visitation from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, February 18, 2010 at Life in Grace Lutheran Church.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 19, 2010, at Life in Grace Lutheran Church, 11th & Tom Green with Pastor Becky Hand officiating. Interment followed at Ector County Cemetery.
