The Hilda United Methodist Church held a groundbreaking ceremony on Sunday afternoon, February 28, 2010, at the site of their new parsonage.

Herbert Loeffler, in cap, is the Advisory Council Chair and was Chairman on the Parsonage Planning Committee. Stephen Stengel, in cowboy hat, is the Parsonage Building Chairman, acting as liaison between the church and Tilson. Rev. Mal Hierholzer is to the right of Stephen and led us in the groundbreaking ceremony. Several of our youth also participated: Chase Stengel, and Sarah and Ethan Powell.

The parsonage will be located on church property north of the church on RR783. Tilson Homes of Boerne will be building the home and we hope to have it completed this summer.

An open house will be held at a later date for the community.
