Chairman Smitherman, I am a fifth generation rancher and a banker in Mason. The rich heritage and pride in one's County is unparalleled in Mason County. Many of our citizen's livelihood depends on the serene beauty of our countryside.
These unsightly and so called green transmission lines will destroy our community and lower the property values to the point of causing great distress in the banking sector of our community.
Please consider the negative impact these unsightly transmission lines will have on the most beautiful part of our great State. It would be insane to destroy this beauty in the name of so called green energy. Nothing could be farther from the truth.
The I-10 corridor is a total no-brainer. How can you destroy what has already been marred by an Interstate Highway.
Again, please consider the devastating impact on livelihoods, heritage, beauty, and the Texas Hill Country.
Respectfully,
George Brannies
Chairman
Mason National Bank
