We are all getting ready for the Annual Mason County Chamber of Commerce Civic Awards Banquet!! Thank you all for your wonderful nominations and contribution to our event. It is not too late to nominate, that deadline is Monday January 30th so that we can get the nominations into the newspaper by February 1st. All nominations must be submitted to the Chamber office by mail at PO box 156 Mason TX, e-mail, masontexas@hctc.net or hand delivered to the office at 108 Ft McKavitt, for any further questions please call the office at 325-347-5758.All awards will be presented at the Chamber’s Annual Awards Banquet, to be held on Thursday, February 23rd at the Mason High School Cafeteria at 6:00 PM. We will have a patriotic theme this year and we will also be recognizing the Mason Punchers and coaches for their BIG State victory!!!We are very honored to have Mason’s very own Steve Toone along with Stanley McGowen, founders of the local “Wounded Warrior” program as our speakers this year, we will honor all branches of the military and you are welcome to wear your uniforms to represent your branch of the military if you would like. We will have a wonderful night of recognizing the living as well as the fallen Veterans of Mason County. We want everyone to have an opportunity to participate in this event through the voting process as well as attending the banquet to show your support of our community, We will see you there!!!
