I thought it was hot here in Mason! However, I now know that there are hotter parts of this world and that’s in Florida. I was in a continuous sauna/steam bath for a week in Florida. I went from regular paper towels to the blue shop paper towels. Now, I can understand why no one in Florida wears makeup! And, I became one of them, too! Only rained twice in the week and those were just showers. Had to come back to Texas to drive in a good rain from Fredericksburg to Mason. Too, I’m not sweating at this moment.

Z was just fine and so were my little dogs. They were jumping up and wanting me to hold them and give them kisses the minute I got out of the car. No, not Z. he doesn’t jump! But, I was glad to see the likes of him and it was soooooo good to be home!

Sometimes, you just have to leave home for a while to appreciate what you have at HOME! There are a whole lot of funny/odd folks living outside of Mason County. Little old men in checkered shorts with SAS shoes on with white socks! And, older women with tattoos on their legs! I treated myself to a pedicure in an oriental nail salon, where they were talking oriental to each other. I bet they were saying, “Fat American Woman has stinky feet!” But, my feet feel as smooth as a baby’s behind and I really didn’t care what they said or thought. As, a doctor told me that, “if your feet or butt hurts, you hurt all over.” And, after the pedicure, I had two “HAPPY,” feet.

I’m back home, it’s raining, Z’s done a load or two of his laundry and is well and CLEAN, so all is well that ends well!

P.S. Yes, I had a good time, the kids had a blast and let's hope Fay the hurricane is kind to the Florida folks.
