The Mason County 4-H Food Show was held at the library on Sunday, October 19th. We had a small but dedicated group participate this year. Gerry Daniels and Sheila Durflinger were nice enough to be our volunteer judges, and they gave each 4-H member a thorough interview. Here are the results:

Lucchese Gordon, 1st place Intermediate Main Dish Ashlyn Brandenberger, 2nd place Intermediate Main Dish and winner of the Best Beef Dish Cheyenne Gordon, 1st place Intermediate Breads and Cereals Sierra Gordon, 1st place Junior Nutritious Snacks and Desserts Jayde Witt, 1st place Intermediate Nutritious Snacks and Desserts Colton Brandenberger, 1st place Beginner Main Dish

Ashlyn Brandenberger won the Best Beef Dish Award, presented by Sherry Lehmberg. We’d like to thank the Hill Country Cattlewomen for their donation of $25 for this award!
