The Blanco Panthers traveled to town last Thursday night to take on the JV Punchers in yet another test for an already injury riddled team. The Panthers proved to be too much on this night leaving Mason with a 36-6 victory, keeping their record unblemished.

The Punchers battled hard in this physical contest, showing determination in the face of adversity. Defensively, the Punchers played extremely hard, but struggled to bring down the talented Blanco runners. On the offensive side of the ball, drives stalled out against a strong Panther defense. Chance Stockbridge scored the lone Puncher touchdown on a kickoff return that included some great blocks by the special teams unit.

The JV Punchers will play the Junction Eagles this Thursday night at the Puncherdome. The game will follow the 7th and 8th grade games, with the 7th grade kicking off at 5:00. We look forward to seeing everyone there cheering on the Punchers.
