Tickets are going fast for the Wild Game Dinner scheduled for Saturday, November 8th at 6:00 p.m. Be sure to stop today and get yours. Dinner tickets are $15.00 each and include a meal with one door prize drawing. Raffle tickets for guns, hunting & outdoor equipment, gift certificates, and many other prizes are only $1 each. Among these raffles is a $500 electronic predator caller by Burnam Brothers, donated by the Mason County Predator Association. The grand prize raffle is a 2008 Kawasaki Mule with trailer and these raffle tickets are $10.00 each. Only 2,500 Kawasaki raffle tickets will be sold.

An exceptional dinner will be served this year consisting of brisket, fajitas, sausage, catfish, chili, beans, potato salad, dessert, and assorted beverages. One hundred pounds of fried alligator tail, donated by Ranchland Western Wear, will be served until it runs out. Texas Deadwood BBQ will be preparing the brisket and the beans and chili will be cooked by Angela Jisha, owner of Willow Creek Café. The venison has been donated by Fort Mason Smokehouse. The outdoor cooking team will be led by faithful volunteer cooks, Manuel Martinez, Cody Farmer, Freddie Sapien, and Matt Clark.

Texas Arms is the gun dealer this year and has acquired some firearms that are somewhat hard to come by. You will see some familiar faces at the dinner along with some new ones including our new emcee, Jeff Grote. Our lovely Mason County Queen’s Court will again be selling any raffle tickets that are left at the dinner along with drawing the winning tickets. All tickets can be purchased at the Mason County Chamber of Commerce, Ft. Mason Real Estate, Texas Arms, Mason National Bank, First State Bank, and The Commercial Bank.
