Once again it’s time for my annual Procrastinator’s Gift Guide, which I write every few years or so, when I think about it, for people who, like me, wait until the last few minutes before closing time on the final shopping day before Christmas, and then think about maybe going out and looking for some gifts.

I was so proud of the PUNCHERS. They represented Mason well. No hair hanging out of their helmets. No facial hair. No caps on backwards. And, they showed sportsmanship. You, parents showed the viewers what good upbringing looks like. THANK YOU! Okay, “What to get someone who has everything?” NOTHING. They already have everything, so there’s nothing you can buy for them.

Have a Merry and Great Christmas! Make it the best. The Dec. 21st Sunday Service was a beautiful example of the love the Art people have for each other. They expressed this Christ like love with songs of Christmas. Laura Lewis started by singing “Thou Who Wast Rich” while playing her guitar.

Resolutions - It’s that time again. Here are some things to think about when making your resolutions for the New Year. Resolutions can be broken down into 2 categories. Don’t expect a happy ending; currently, a “faith-claiming continuance” may be the best to the hoped for. A man--sentenced to 40 years for first-degree murder--has done 12, just turned 30 and eligible for p ...

Someone said he thought about being a priest at one time. Sam once said he was from Shreveport. That
