Steeley Smith participated in the Heart of the Hills Barrel Racing Association. At the year end awards banquet she received a buckle for Reserve Champion in the 9 & 10 year old Pole Bending division. She won a saddle in the 9 & 10 year old Barrel division that was donated by Mason Feed Store. She won a saddle in the Open Barrels for her first place in the 3-D division that was donated by Pedernales Veterinary.
