The issue of Cecil the Lion came up again in a conversation a few days ago. Although I had not planned to revisit this story, at least until something really relevant happened, this recent discussion has caused me to rethink the whole thing. For me, thinking hard about something once is a rarity in itself.

The weather continues to be hot and dry, and although there are occasional chances of rain in the forecast I seldom see a cloud capable of dropping any moisture and have not seen any rain in town for the past several weeks. The City continues to struggle to keep the water supply tanks full so that we can meet all of the needs of our residents, but we need your help to manage this.
