Carroll Ray Jordan passed away on Sunday, December 4, at the age of 73. He was born to Ervin Max Jordan and Mabel Sophia Charlotte (Ericson) Jordan on October 5, 1938, in Woodsboro, Texas in a small town hospital where he was noted to sound like a “bull” midst a group of girl babies.

Dorothy Henrich Tartt, nee Loeffler, was the oldest of three children born to Lee and Jennie Gipson Loeffler at Hilda, Texas, on September 7, 1923. She was baptized and confirmed at Hilda United Methodist Church and that is where the celebration of her life was chosen to be held. She started school in Hilda and later stayed with her grandmother Gipson and finished high school in Mason.

Eldon Ray Kothmann was born in Fredericksburg, Texas, on September 29, 1944, to Silas E. and Clara Woerner Kothmann. Eldon grew up on the Adolph D. Kothmann Sr. ranch on Beaver Creek in Mason County, Texas. As a young boy, he was involved in all the chores of everyday ranch life of that period of time.

Jack Evans Crouch passed away on Wednesday, November 9, at the age of 83. Jack was born in Menard, Texas, to Wiley Crouch and Ruth Millsap Crouch. At an early age he started doing ranch work and building fence. He continued in this line of work for many years working on the Block House Ranch and for Jack Walker at Hedwig’s Hill.

Clara H. Kothmann passed away on November 6, 2011, in the Knopp Nursing and Rehab Center at the age of 91.Clara Hulda Woerner Kothmann was born in Gillespie County on October 10, 1920. She was the oldest child of Edmund and Zelima “Neffendorf’ Woerner of Fredericksburg. Clara was baptized on November 28, 1920, by Pastor Konsack.

Arlene Cassens, age 66, of Lampasas passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2011, in a Temple Hospital. She was born September 13, 1945, in Brady, Texas, to Arles McWilliams and Lois (Hanson) McWilliams. She graduated from Mason High School in 1963. Then, she attended Business College in Wichita Falls. She married Larry Cassens on August 27, 1966.
