On Tuesday, January 24th, the Riata Service Organization visited Mount Carmel Hermitage in Christoval. The Hermitage is about 25 miles south of San Angelo.Deacon Martin Mary, the first Monk to become ordained at the Hermitage, gave a tour of the facility. After the tour, Riata members visited the Hermitage gift shop where they enjoyed some of their bakery items.

You Go Girl! Selah Farmer, seven-years-old, won top honors and the champion saddle on December 16 and 17 in Denton, Texas, at the Gold Buckle Barrel Race and Clinic with trainer, Kendra Dickson. Selah was also asked to attend the invitational roping clinic this summer. She also won the 4D Barrel competition, and received a check.
