Mr. and Mrs. Jarrod (Marcy Lehmberg) Young are exceedingly proud to announce the arrival of their sweet little miracle, Emersyn Ann Young. She was born Friday, October 28th at 11:25 a.m. in Houston. The Mason High School class of 1951 met for their 60th reunion on October 22nd at Zavala's Cafe. Kody and Jacki Eckert are excited to announce the birth of their son, Jager McCrae Eckert. Born on August 30, 2011; Jager weighed seven pounds, two ounces and was 20 inches long. Mr. and Mrs. Earnest Wilkinson of Llano are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristie Van Coney, to Ben Lehmberg, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Lehmberg of Mason, Texas. Kristie is a 2006 graduate of Llano High School and attended Texas State University. Kristie is currently employed with Arrowhead Bank in Llano.

Conley Wayne Bownds is proud to announce the birth her baby sister, Parker Blair Bownds. Born June 8, 2011, weighing seven pounds, 12 ounces, and measuring 21 inches. She is welcomed by her parents, Garrett and Whitney Bownds. Proud grandparents are Johnny and Angie Bownds, Debbie Barker and Ronnie Barker.

The Mason High Class of ’49 gathered at the historic Peter’s Prairie School on Saturday, October 8, 2011, for their 62nd Class Reunion. Steven Blake Hemphill, the second of six grandsons of former Mayor Jamie Hemphill graduated with highest honors from Harding University last May and was accepted at all three Texas dental colleges. His choice was made much easier, however, when he was offered a scholarship from the Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, next door to Baylor Hospital there.

Amber King and Chad Zenner exchanged marriage vows on Saturday, June 25, 2011, at 4 p.m. in Holy Ghost Lutheran Church with the Rev. Bobby Vitek officiating.The bride is the daughter of Lisa Goehmann and Ronny Arnold of Mason and Gary and Lisa King of Fredericksburg, and the granddaughter of Larry and Audrey Goehmann and Pat Loth all of Fredericksburg, the late C.G.

On Saturday, October 8, 2011, the Class of 1961 gathered in the home of their high school days, the current River of Life Church. Coffee, conversation and the indentification of baby photos occupied the morning hours. Moving down memory lane, the class then had a photo "op" at the site of their first grade photo in 1949, the steps of the Old Grammer School.
