Dionitia Rambo Lyckman passed to the Lord on Wednesday, July 16, 2014, in Menard, Texas. A celebration of her life was held at Grace Lutheran Church in Menard on Friday, July 18, at 2:00 p.m. with burial following at Rest Haven Cemetery. Dionitia was born Dionitia Marie Grundmann Rambo on September 25, 1929, to Charlotte (Volkmann) and Claude Dewey Rambo at the home of her grandparents, Menard ranching pioneers Dietrich F.

Joe Ray Hernandez, age 50, of Lubbock and formerly of Brady, passed away Sunday, July 6, 2014in Lubbock, Texas. He was born May 4, 1964 in Brady to Manuel Rodriguez Hernandez and Mary Jesusa (Gomez) Hernandez. He was a self-employed landscaper and had lived in Lubbock for 33 years. He was a Baptist. Funeral services for Joe Ray Hernandez will be held at 10:00am, Saturday July 12, 2014 at Leatherwood Memorial Chapels in Brady, Texas at with Pastor Joe Ledezma officiating.

DeeAnn was born in Brady, TX, on May 26, 1962, to Raymond & Janice Kirk Brandenberger. She attended Mason Schools & graduated in 1980. She was married in 1981 & for a short period of time, lived in Boerne. Mason, again became her home & the family was blessed with two children, Dava Reeves McCarty & Daniel Reeves.

Betty Lou Andrews passed away quietly into the Lord’s arms on Sunday, July 13, 2014, with her loving husband at her side. She was born on June 9, 1940, in Mason County, Mason, Texas, to Baze Cavaness and Grace Skurlock Cavaness, the first of four children. She grew up in Mason, and graduated from Mason High School in 1958.

Leland Y. Matthews, 89, of Kerrville, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2014. He was born on April 24, 1925. Leland is survived by his wife Kathryn of 66 years, his sons, grandchildren, great grandchildren and their families. A celebration of Leland's life will be held at a later date. Armand Eugene Nelms, died June 6, 2014, after several years of battling with Alzheimer's Disease. He was born February 2, 1928, in Brownwood, Texas, to Arthur and Ruth Nelms. He attended elementary school in Durant, Oklahoma, and finished his high school years in Dallas, Texas. Armand (Gene) enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1945 and was honorably discharged in 1949.

She enjoyed crocheting baby blankets for her family and friends. She enjoyed being on the Llano River and collecting rocks she found.

Arthur D. Kothmann was born on May 22, 1920, the only child of Floyd Kothmann and Veda Bell Eaker. He grew up in Mason County, living there all his life except for a couple of years when his parents lived in Brady. His only schooling was at the Capps country school where Arthur rode his horse to every day.

Albert Clark Templeton was born on November 5, 1930, in Austin, Texas to Hiram Templeton and Ila Mae Berryman Templeton. He passed away at his home in Mason on Thursday, May 29, at the age of 83. Clark was raised in the Lone Grove Community of Llano County. He was a graduate of Southwest Texas Teachers College.

Eva Lane, of San Antonio, passed away on Sunday, June 1, at the age of 95. She was born on June 20, 1917, in Mason to Milford Nichols and Rosa Kidd Nichols. Eva was raised in Mason and then made San Antonio her home for most of her life. She worked for several companies in aircraft construction including Swearingen and Mooney Aircraft.
