David Aguero Ramos, age 76, of Fredericksburg, passed away Friday, February 8, 2013, at Fredericksburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services were held Monday, February 11, at 2:00 p.m. at Mason funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Hector Lopez and Abel Cantu officiating. Interment followed at Bethel Cemetery in Camp Air, Texas.

Our Lord called home to Himself on Tuesday, Dec. 4, Edna Willey, 84, of Arlington. Funeral services were held on Dec. 7 at St. Barnabas United Methodist Church in Arlington. Graveside committal services and inurnment will be at Wimberley Cemetery on Saturday, Feb. 23 at 2 p.m. Edna was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Travis T.

Valentina C. Dominguez, of Mason, passed away on Tuesday, January 29, at the age of 69. Funeral services were held on Friday, February 1, at 10:00 a.m. in the Mason Funeral Home chapel. Interment followed in the Gooch Cemetery. A prayer service was held Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. at Mason Funeral Home.

Stephen Anthony (Tony) Keller, “Toe Knee,” 60, passed away on January 31, 2013. He was born on January 23, 1953, to Byron and Lois Keller in the original red-brick Seton Hospital on West 26th in Austin, Texas . Tony grew up in Austin, Texas. He attended St. Austin’s and Sacred Heart Catholic Schools grades 1-8, 9 & 10th at Lafayette High, Louisiana and graduated from John H.

Pearl Emma Leifeste, of Art, passed away on Sunday, January 27, at the age of 100. Pearl was born in Mason County on October 18, 1912, to Adolph Vater and Medora Dannheim Vater. She was raised in the Art Community. On September 18, 1931, Pearl married Reuben Leifeste at the Art North Methodist Church.

Joseph Thorpe Sr. (LTC, U.S.M.C. Retired), of Mason, passed away on Thursday, January 24, at the age of 70. Mr. Thorpe is survived by his wife Marylee Thorpe, of Mason, two sons Jim Thorpe and wife Wendy of Houston and Joseph Thorpe Jr. and wife Elizabeth of Lake Forest, California, five grandchildren Joseph Culter, Cody Thorpe, Danielle Thorpe, Lauryn Thorpe and Morgyn Thorpe.

Johnnie Lee (Blakeney) Hight, 79, of Bangs, Texas, and longtime Menard resident, passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2013, in Bangs. Visitation was, Thursday, January 10, 2013, at Heritage Funeral Home in Menard. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 11, 2013, at London Baptist Church in London, Texas, with interment at Long Mountain Cemetery. Johnnie was born on October 22, 1933, in San Angelo, Texas, to John Franklin Blakeney and Cora Lee (Miller) Blakeney.

Wanda Sue Brockman Sinclair went home peacefully on Jan. 4, 2013. Wanda was born Jan. 19, 1946, in De Queen, Arkansas, and raised by her Great Aunt in Mason, TX. Wanda became a nurse and enjoyed her profession for 46 years; the last 27 years were spent as a nurse with Dr.

Dora Delgado Landeros, of Mason, passed away on Sunday, January 13, at the age of 71. Dora was born in Houston, Texas, on August 16, 1941, to Jose Anguiano Delgado and Geneva Delgado. She lived most of her life in Houston and Mason before moving to Cedar Park a couple of years ago so she could be near her daughter.

On Sunday, December 23, 2012, we lost the love of our life. She was born October 7, 1942, to Mayfield and Norma Sagebiel Kothmann in Mason, Texas, both preceding her in death. She was a basketball player on the Mason High School Punchers. She attended Texas Lutheran College from 1961 to 1965 majoring in Art & Business.

Junction– Mrs. Gail Jean Eppler, 72, of London, Texas passed from this life on Sunday, December 30, 2012 at a local care facility. Gail’s childhood was spent in Odessa, Texas, where she grew up in a loving home. She married her husband, Jim, at age 17 and for 49 years, they faced life with daring passion.

Albert Henry Plain Jr., of Fredonia, passed away on Wednesday, December 26, at the age of 67. Albert is survived by his wife Cheryl Plain, of Fredonia, two sisters Marian Plain and Jan Gooden of Texas City and Paula McComb and husband Skip of Texas City along with numerous nieces and nephews including Pilar Branden Long of Llano and Randy Plain and wife Liz of Texas City. Albert married Cheryl Lee Wagner on December 11, 1971, in Houston, Texas.

Frances Joy Hahn, of Mason, passed away on Thursday, December 27, at the age of 71. She was born September 22, 1941, in Delta, Colorado, to Owen Hocker and Franky Hocker Sparks. She was preceded in death by her brother Gene Hocker and her sister Betty Ann Hart. Virginia Jean Beam, of Mason, passed away on Thursday, January 3, at the age of 89. Funeral services for Virginia Beam were held on Monday, January 7, at 2:00 p.m. in the Mason Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Colleen Haley officiating. Interment followed in the Gooch Cemetery. Visitation with the family was Sunday afternoon from 4 to 6 p.m.
