A.F. “Boog” Holloway passed away on Thursday, March 5, at the age of 84. “Boog” was born on September 27, 1930, near Pontotoc in Mason County to Noah Curtis Holloway and Verna Brady Holloway. Mason County would be his home all of his life. In 1948 he fell in love and married Joyce Koock and they were together for the next 67 years! “Boog” was co-owner of Mason Bottling Company and never completely retired.

Viletha Surber Cooper, born October 15, 1919, in Mason County, Texas, died Monday, February 9, 2015, in Fredericksburg, Texas.
