Passed away at the age of 74 in Fort Worth, Texas, on April 10, 2014. from natural causes. Betty was born October 10, 1939, in Mason, Texas, to Frankli n Manuel Beam and Alma Amanda Meridith Beam. Graveside Services will be held June 7, 2014, at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Cavness Cemetery in Mason County. Betty went Mason High School where she was on the Pep Squad. She was married at the age of 16 in 1955 to Charles Elzie Morris (Boogie) and was married for 24 years.

Cleo Beth Cooper of Llano, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2014, at the age of 69. She was born on June 28, 1944, in Brady, Texas, to Clarence and Mildred (Bankston) Schuessler. Jesse Thomas Hurst Jr., age 73 of Lampasas, TX died Sunday May 4, 2014 at Rollins-Brook Community Hospital. He was born November 11, 1940, in San Diego, CA, the son of Jesse Thomas Hurst Sr. and Eria Maud (Massy) Hurst. Jesse served in the U.S. Navy as well as the Navy Reserve for 30 years before retiring.

By the Grace of God on September 30, 1988, our baby boy arrived. The doctor held him up, counted his toes and fingers and declared “Looks like a keeper to me.” We named him Ross Clayton Lehmberg. He was ours for 25 years, 7 months and 4 days. On Saturday, May 3, 2014, our hopes and dreams for him were shattered.

Paul Edward Gips passed away April 8, 2014, days short of his 93rd birthday. He was born in Yorktown in 1921 to Paul F. Gips and Antonette Mollenhauer Gips. He graduated from Yorktown High School in 1939, then attended Texas Lutheran Junior College. He was starting tailback in football for two years, and starting guard for two years on the basketball team.
