Shirley Larrimore, formerly of Kingsland, passed away on Wednesday, October 30, at the age of 81. Mrs. Larrimore is survived by three sons: Steven Phillip Blakeman of Port Angeles, WA, Scott Dell Blakeman of Montgomery, TX and Robert Dale McLucas of Austin, TX, a step daughter Jennifer Willie of Mason and two sisters Barbara Brend of Sugarland and Beverly Kester of San Antonio. Funeral services for Shirley Ann Jeessen Larrimore were held on Monday, November 4, at 1:00 p.m.

Jesse “Jay” Kuhne, 91, of Fort Worth, Texas passed away Saturday, October 12, 2013, at his home. Jay was born September 14, 1922, in Runge, Texas, and served in the Army during World War II. He graduated from Texas A&M at Kingsville with a degree in Engineering and was a retired home builder and businessman, as well as a fine gentleman and active member of the Methodist Church.

On October 1, 2013, Sally Coldiron went peacefully to the waiting arms of Our Lord Jesus Christ after her long, brave fight against cancer. Sally was born in 1921 to Bert & Ella Townsend on Blocker Mountain near McAlester, OK. The Townsend family farmed and raised Percheron draft horses. After her high school graduation, Sally stayed in McAlester until 1947, when she relocated to Houston, TX where her oldest sister, Margie, lived.

Johnita Pearl Schuessler was born on March 4, 1916, in Austin. Her parents were Ida and John Schuessler. Johnita attended Castell school and graduated from Mason High School in 1933. She was a proud Mason Puncher. Johnita also attended Blinn College, Southwestern University, and graduated from Southern Methodist University in 1938, with a Bachelor of Arts in German.

Johnita Bohmfalk, of Mason, went to her heavenly reward on Sunday, September 29, at the age of 97. She is survived by her children Robert Bohmfalk, of Seguin and Joan Ullrich of Conroe and a brother John Harold Schuessler of Mason, four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
