Lillie M. Fritze Avrett (Lea), age 92, passed away October 20, 2012, at Roberts Hospice Care Center in Palatka,FL. She was born on February 24, 1920, in Castell, Texas, the daughter of William and Olga Fritze. She attended school in a one-room schoolhouse in Castell, and graduated from Brackenridge High in San Antonio.

Ruth Kothmann Spaeth passed away on Sunday, October 21, 2012, at the age of 95. A private family memorial service and interment was held on October 23, 2012 in Mason, Texas. Ruth was born in London, Kimble County on December 31, 1916, to Eli Henry “Lee” and Amelia Hahn Kothmann.

Graveside services were held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at Wimberly Cemetery, Wimberly, Texas for Lena Mary Cochran, 403 N. Paris, Artesia, New Mexico. Visitation was held at Terpening & Son Mortuary, Artesia, N.M. beginning at 10 a.m. Thursday. Lena went to be with Our Lord Jesus on October 12, 2012, after celebrating her 92nd birthday.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 27, 2012, at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel in Brady. Glenda was born in Houston, Texas on October 24, 1937, to Herbert Warren and Bonnie Ruth (Reese) Warren.

AI V. Garrett passed away at the VA hospital in Dallas, Texas on September 18th, 2012, at the age of 90. His funeral service was held on September 26th at the Center Point Methodist Church. Lois was born in Valley Spring, Texas, on May 7, 1913, to Jim and Carrie Baumann Phillips. She was the eldest of five sisters and two brothers. She was married on May 3, 1936, to Wilbur Durst in Valley Spring.
