The Purple team participated in Sonora and the Cowgirls took 3rd place honors. Kym Danz was 4th individual and Margaret Graves placed 3rd. Due to sharing with little league baseball, the Punchers did not have enough players to field a team but Ty Ellebracht , Leonel Blas and Chase Pawvlik did a good job.

Before a word is written about our tennis team, we would just like to take this opportunity to thank all those that made their way to College Station to support our team. So many came that didn’t have kids playing…just came to support our team. It was totally amazing. Probably the best part about the support was that it was in great sportsmanship and in great appreciation of good tennis.

The Mason Tennis Association Tennis-A-Thon fundraiser was a smashing success in raising over $9500. The money will be used to improve our tennis center.
Many of our tennis playing youth, ages 3 to 18, played tennis for 1 and 1/2 hours on March 24th and acquired sponsors who donated money to them for playing.
The top fundraiser for this event was Lexie Bingham, a 7th grader, who raised $1500.
