Cheer Champs was an ACE Enrichment class where students were taught cheer and dance routines. Puncher Pete volunteered his time teaching ACE students for the Cheer class this semester. As a culminating activity Puncher Pete and the ACE Cheer Champ participants performed Friday night during the halftime of the Varsity boys basketball game against Center Point.

Mason hosted the 13th Annual Puncher Shootout last weekend. Teams from Fredericksburg, Kerrville, Marble Falls, Midland, and San Angelo invaded the Helen Tallent Tennis Center for highly competitive tournament.
Each player was guaranteed five matches in either A or B divisions. This is just what we needed this early in the season.

The Mason Cowgirl basketball team defeated the Junction Lady Eagles on Tuesday, February, February 5, claiming the district title with a perfect 10-0 district record. The Cowgirls, ranked third in the state rankings, finished up the regular season with a 29-5 record. They will play the area round of the playoffs on Friday at 7:00 pm at Marble Falls High School against the Holland Lady Hornets.
