The Puncher Basketball Team got two big wins over district opponents this week to help keep them in the playoff hunt. Mason (2-1) is behind Harper (3-0) and Medina (3-0) and ahead of Center Point (1-2), Nueces Canyon (0-3), and Junction (0-3).
The Punchers played Nueces Canyon in Mason on Tuesday and the home crowd would prove to make the difference.

We will be hosting the 1st Annual Lee Graham Relays on Saturday, March 16th at 9 a.m. here in Mason.
This is going to be a high school meet that was formerly the “Hill Country Relays.” If you are interested in being a worker for the meet please let me know.

With only one player with an entire varsity basketball season under their belt the 2012-2013 Puncher Basketball team might be considered a young inexperienced team that will need a year to mature. Don’t try to convince them of this especially after the effort and determination that was put in Friday in their loss to a good Medina Bobcat team.
